Challenge

The brief included the requirement for real-time computer generated backgrounds to instantly change the environment around the presenters to allow them to be transported from an office in London to a cityscape in New York at the touch of a button. In addition the client wanted to be able to utilise augmented reality to provide visual and practical aids within the broadcast environment.

Solution

Graymatter deployed the latest GX range media servers by disguise to manage and process camera data from cutting edge Stype a systems and 360 degree virtual environments created by our high power unreal engine servers. This was managed by our talented onsite technical team and fed into our portable production broadcast solution which brings professional outside broadcast facilities for remote production.
