The CBI Annual Conference is the UK’s flagship event in both the business and political calendar. This year’s event brought together influential leaders to explore how the UK can go for growth, and discuss the critical issues facing business.

Some of the hight profile speakers for the event included the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the leader of the opposition Sir Keir starmer.

Graymatter were tasked with providing the cutting edge video control system to process ultra high definition imagery and graphics from an array of source computers and media servers.

Solution

Based upon Barco Eventmaster seamless switching and architecture the team were able to arrange and composite the numerous live sources delivering final outputs to the LED processors for the massive 18m x 4m (6636 x 1408px) screen, relay screens, record destinations and down stage monitors. In addition to the live room content the system needed to provide multicast streaming, press feeds, broadcast quality cameras and outside broadcast facilities to meet the high standards of production.
